This way you’ll be able to see how your rocket will fly with the rocket motors that you might make. What you'll see is that the process of making motors is easy. But there is one crucial step that you need to do first, before you sit down and read this guide. That is you’ll need to get or create the thrust curve of the rocket motor. RockSim does not generate the thrust curves. A thrust curve is basically just a chart that plots the thrust of the rocket motor on the Y-axis, and the time on the X-axis. Level-2 Rocket | The 4-inch diameter Level-2 was designed specifically for achieving a Level-2 high power rocketry certification. This is an exceptionally durable rocket because it is made from fiberglass components. That means no more zippers, crunched tubes, nor dinged fins. | Soccer Pitch Touchdown This past weekend, I was in Laramie, Wyoming. Since I was just burning time in my mind, I decided to see if there were any good places to launch a Blue Streak rocket (shown on the cover of this week's newsletter). I got out the Launch Visualizer and starting playing around, doing launches on various fields around the campus. This final simulation was done to get the rocket to touch down at the midfield point of the soccer field.
