This is part 2 of our article on the stuff you'll need for a successful dual deployment rocket. Dual deployment is used in high power rocketry for one reason: to get the rocket to land as close to the pad as possible. We don’t want to walk very far to retrieve our rockets. How it is done, and what you will need to accomplish is the subject of this article. We’ll walk you through the process of launching your very first dual-deployment rocket, so that you’ll feel confident that you can do it yourself. And more importantly, we'll give you a checklist of items you'll need to be successful with your first dual-deployment rocket.

This cycling sequence is easier for the human ear to locate than a constant shrill tone.

We're flying it as high as possible in this simulation, on a E12-0 to and E12-8 motor. Lots of trees, but I think we can sneak this one into the field. What do you think?
