My paintings depict quiet places, joyful moments, beautiful flowers, and children discovering their treasures. I celebrate life in all my paintings and aspire for my artwork to show tranquility, hope, and love. I enjoy taking my paints out of the studio during the summer to paint landscapes. I hope you enjoy them. I grew up in Fall River and was first introduced to art by my mother who used to take me to the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Mother had to see the Sargent paintings, and I had to see Copley's "Watson and the Shark." As a senior at BMC Durfee High School, I took lessons from Sister Bert at Saint Anne's Church, copying master paintings with women my mother's age. I went on to major in Painting at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and I currently work from my studio in Wayland, Massachusetts where I continue to paint and teach private lessons.
