Good evening,

Good evening,

Reporting season is bringing the equity raisings, as promised. On Monday, it was Lynas Corp’s turn to pitch a $425 million placement and rights issue, and on Tuesday, the baton will pass to Queensland/American coal miner Coronado Global Resources.

Coronado will be in the market with a $250 million deal at 60¢ a share, a hefty discount to its last close of 82¢. We reveal a couple of the early backers, after the company and its bankers spent the past few days with select institutional investors.

Elsewhere, we find out which private equity giant has joined the hunting pack at Collection House, and take a look at listed property developer Peet, which has attracted a mystery buyer.

Happy reading,

Sarah Thompson, Anthony Macdonald and Tim Boyd
