St. Paul has seen a surge in gun violence this month. According to police, more than 100 people have been hurt or killed by gunfire in the city this year, including three homicides in just nine hours earlier this month. 

Just days later a man was killed after he was shot by a St. Paul police officer. A body camera video of that incident was released today and shows the man, Ronald Davis of Little Canada, coming at the officer with a knife in his hand.

In the wake of these violent incidents, MPR News host Angela Davis sat down with three faith leaders to talk about grief and healing. You can listen to their conversation here.

After months of expressing caution on a push for impeachment, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched a formal impeachment inquiry against President Trump today. "No one is above the law," Pelosi said during a press conference this afternoon. In Minnesota,  more than half of the state's delegation in Washington is supporting her decision. Bodycam video shows St. Paul officer shoot, kill man who ran at him with knife
St. Paul police on Tuesday released body camera video from the fatal police shooting of a Little Canada man last week. The video shows Ronald Davis with a knife in his right hand coming at officer Steven Mattson as the officer yells for him to drop it.
