Periodicals Price Survey 2021 The New Abnormal: Periodicals Price Survey 2021
By Stephen Bosch, Barbara Albee, and Sion Romaine

By Brian L. Mortimore
Can a library can require its staff or patrons to have a vaccination in order to enter the building? I’ve spent a good deal of time pondering this question, and while I’m not an attorney and not offering legal advice, there are several things to consider, about this and other related issues.

WEB-FIRST REVIEWS OF BOOKS AND MEDIA
Pug Actually In fiction, Matt Dunn's Pug Actually was one of last week's starred titles. "There’s no big reveal, and (predictably) the right boy gets the girl and the villain is vanquished, but this amusing little novel is still a rollicking good time that will tickle readers’ funny bones with some lovely, laugh-out-loud moments." The Soulmate Equation, by Christina Lauren, is a starred romance. "With the laugh-out-loud voice that Lauren’s die-hard fans adore, this sweet, charming, and humorous book is a perfect match for readers looking for a low-stakes, high swoon-factor romance, but some readers may have concerns about the ethical implications of DNA-based matchmaking." And Chanel Cleeton's The Most Beautiful Girl in Cuba, is another starred fiction title. "Historical fiction fans will love this novel and its perfectly detailed descriptions of a long-gone era. This is another slam-dunk from Cleeton."
