After her fourth-place finish in the Elite time trial earlier this week, Pfeiffer Georgi has successfully defended her British Road Race Title for Team dsm-firmenich PostNL, securing the third road title of her career.

The race took place on the same course as last year, featuring a hilly lap around Saltburn-by-the-Sea. Becky Storrie did a great job bringing the early break back before the group got smaller and smaller as the laps counted down. Georgi was supported by her teammate Josie Nelson, who also made the jump into the select group that fought for the title. In the final lap, Nelson led the group into the final punchy climb to the finish, and Georgi was able to launch her winning move at the same spot as last year.
