An arty afternoon tea inside Rosewood London's Mirror Room

Mirror, mirror on the wall... which afternoon tea is the fairest of them all? Rosewood London's Pablo Picasso-inspired offering surely takes the cake this autumn. Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkins has dreamt up a beautiful spread inspired by the renowned Spanish artist for you to enjoy in one of the capital's finest five-star hotels.

From almond meringue sponge cake infused with orange blossom and honey ganache inspired by Picasso's cubist era to a chocolate mousse and passion fruit jelly homage to his 1932 painting La Rêve, these confections are as aesthetically-pleasing as they are delicious. They also happen to pair brilliantly with a glass of Ruinart Brut, Ruinart Rosé, or — if you want to really push the boat out — Dom Perignon 2008, all of which are optional afternoon tea add-ons.

Discover it for yourself inside Rosewood London's exquisite Mirror Room, a real jewel of a dining destination featuring floor-to-ceiling decorative mirrors, lounge-style seating and atmospheric low lighting. The Picasso Art Afternoon Tea launches 23 October and will initially run Friday to Sunday, 12pm-6pm.
