With little buildup, the Massachusetts Pirates seek to revive arena football in Worcester

The Yatim family of Shrewsbury decided to bring a team to the area after seeing a void in the market, hoping to capitalize on the popularity of football when the Patriots aren't playing.

The Worcester latex foam product manufacturer led by furniture executive Steve Rotman has acquired the assets of its exclusive distributor, also based in Worcester, for $1.4 million.

110 Grill will open May 22 in Worcester

A 110 Grill at the new AC Hotel in downtown Worcester will open May 22, the Westford-based chain said.
