Players of the Week
Cage Cox of the Leesburg Lightning and Conenr Andrews of the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs are the Duffy's MVP of the Week selections.
Cox, a sophomore outfielder from Alabama State, was big for the Lightning all week long, including a two home run performance against the Squeeze.
Andrews, from UNF, continues to dominate on the mound as he held the DeLand Suns to one hit over six innings of work in a 10-0 Winter Park victory on Friday.
The Florida League All-Star Game will take place on Saturday, July 8th in Sanford. The Home Run Derby will feature eight of the top hitters in the league, followed by the All-Star game at 7 PM.
