PokerBROS and Poker Geek Adventure are teaming up to put on a new live tournament series. The Panama Carnival of Poker is set to run from Feb. 15-26 at the Sortis Hotel, Spa & Casino in Panama City. The schedule for the first-ever big live tournament organized by the online social gaming platform includes 10 tournaments with nearly $2 million in guaranteed prize money on offer.

The centerpiece of the schedule will be the $1,200,000 guaranteed $1,750 buy-in no-limit hold’em main event that runs from Feb. 20-26. The tournament features six total starting flights, with the first five each starting at 2:00 p.m. local time from Feb. 20-24. The final starting flight will feature a turbo structure, kicking off at 9:00 p.m. local time on Feb. 24. After that there will be two full days of combined-field action to narrow the remaining contenders down to a champion.

Players will start with 35,000 in tournament chips, with a $50 dealer tip adding 5,000 additional chips to play with. The event features 40-minute blind levels, with ten levels of late registration per flight. The series will be held in Jackie’s Room, the home of poker at the venue.

Other big events include the $150,000 guaranteed $3,000 buy-in high roller event (Feb. 17-19), the $150,000 guaranteed $900 buy-in ‘Second Chance’ event (Feb. 25-26), and the $100,000 guaranteed $1,500 buy-in mini high roller (Feb. 26).
