A brand new high-stakes tournament event is making its debut on the PokerGO Tour this week. The first-ever PGT Heads-Up Showdown invitational event features a $25,000 buy-in, with 32 entries squaring off in the one-on-one no-limit hold’em shootout format. Plenty of the biggest names in the game are set to battle it out with the chance to earn $400,000 as the inaugural champion.

The semi-finalist will all cash for at least $100,000, with $200,000 going to the runner-up finisher. The entire event will be live-streamed on PokerGO.com, with the event running from Thursday, Apr. 21 through Saturday, Apr. 23. Thursday’s opening round action is also set to be broadcast on the PokerGO YouTube channel.
