The residents of the suburb of Bonython were given a smelly surprise when a local pond was contaminated with sewerage.
A malfunctioning rise pump located next to the pond was the cause of the leak only metres from homes. While a spokesperson for the Minister for Urban Services, Craig Duby, said that the malfunctioning pump had been sealed the previous week, an ACTEW employee reported that residents had been complaining of a bad smell for months. READ MORE
