NARVESON | Deputy Metro Editor In Louisiana, Donald Trump should easily defeat Joe Biden at the ballot box in November, according to a poll commissioned by The Advocate | The Times-Picayune. In a head-to-head contest, the former president would earn 52% of the state's votes, compared to 38% for his opponent. Baton Rouge Mayor Pro Tem Lamont Cole says the Louisiana Supreme Court committed legal errors in its ruling in favor of the new city of St. George, and on Thursday he asked the court for a new hearing on the matter. “The import of the result of this decision cannot be overstated — it is a generational mistake,” Cole's request states.
