Pope’s latest push for LGBTQ parishioners goes against Cleveland bishop’s stance

In July, Bishop Jose Negri of Santo Amaro in Brazil sent a letter to the Vatican’s Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith with six questions asking for guidance on whether LGBTQ people can participate in sacraments. The Vatican published a document on Wednesday in response.
