CBS Sports Fantasy Baseball Today

Outfielders make up a huge portion of the player pool in Fantasy, and that's true both at the top of drafts and in the middle and end. Which means it might be the position where strategy is most important. Because, while it's tempting to fill out your outfield early on with studs, the depth of the position can leave you stuck passing on good players later on to fill other spots in your lineup, leaving you with an ultimately weaker team. You need to have a plan going into Draft Day, in other words, and we're here to help, with our preview of the position, including a sleeper, breakout, and bust pick, top prospects, plus Scott White's strategies and tiers for the position.

The first five picks of most standard drafts figure to be outfielders, but your draft may be decided by who you target later on.
