| DON'T GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM |

I started writing this newsletter in 2002 and in 2006 after writing The Energy Bus it was rejected by over 30 publishers. I almost gave up several times. In my darkest moments, I thought my dream was never going to happen. I felt discouraged because I wanted to encourage people with the story and lessons I had written but was being told over and over again by publishers that they didn't believe in it. The only thing I could do was keep dreaming, hoping, praying and sending the book to more publishers.
One day Shannon Vargo, an editor at John Wiley and Sons read the book and decided she wanted to publish it. She had a best friend with a husband named George and the book resonated with her.
The book came out and 14 years later I've written a total of 24 books (25 is coming out June 9th) including 5 children's books, 11 best sellers and millions of copies have been read around the world in numerous languages. Here's a stack of the books I've written: |

Many of you who get this newsletter haveread my booksand I want to thank you for your support and encouragement over the years. But the reason why I'm sharing this is because I want to encourage and support YOU.
You see, this was my dream and I'm sharing this story so you don't give up on yours. We all have a desire and dream to do something we haven't done or something that has yet to be done and I see too many people give up when someone says "No, that's not possible" or "You can't do it."
The truth is anything is possible. I'm living proof. I'm nothing special. I just have a lot of faith, heart and grit. And I don't give up because someone said I should. Most importantly, I don't let the opinion of others define me or my future... and neither should you!
Remember, your purpose is greater than your challenges and your belief must be greater than all the negativity and doubt.
The stack of books you see didn't happen over-night. Anything worthwhile takes time to build. If we had immediate success, we wouldn't develop the character we need to sustain it.
A body of work is created one day, one project, one action, one moment of overcoming fear, insecurity, doubt, discouragement, and rejection at a time.
Make today the day you decide you are not giving up on your dream. Keep working, keep believing and keep going. Create your body of work one day at a time, starting now!
