Louisiana audit cites possible abuse, neglect at homes for disabled

Disabilities care: A state audit has found at least 3,500 cases of possible abuse and neglect at care facilities for the disabled, Friedmann reports. Roughly a fourth of those cases were not reported promptly. 


DOTD restructure: An outside firm will review the state transportation department's practices after Gov. Jeff Landry and lawmakers panned the agency this year, Alyse Pfeil reports.
