It probably goes without saying but it always bears repeating: utilities and power producers are under attack. In addition to the physical substation attacks that have swept across the U.S. in recent months, the threat of cyberattack from Russia or another malicious actor looking to bring down the grid or just extort a company for money remains high. In fact, a recent survey showed that 89% of professionals working in the power and energy sector plan to invest in cybersecurity to combat a growing risk environment. We sat down with three experts from Fortinet to understand why the threat is growing and how power and energy companies should approach protecting assets from attack. |
