To that end, we are organizing a number of events at this year's Frankfurt Book Fair to help people make new, international connections and to discuss top issues facing the book business.

PublisHer Salon:
International Network of Women in Publishing
Organized by Publishing Perspectives, Frankfurter Buchmesse, PublisHer, and NORLA, this networking salon brings together women from different world regions for remarks on how women can support each other in the book business, followed by an international meet-and-greet reception.

PP Talks on the International Stage
On Wednesday–Friday during the fair, PP editor-in-chief Porter Anderson hosts discussions on leading issues in the book business with experts from around the world.
Wednesday: Publishing and the Climate Crisis

In this program, we explore the climate crisis from several angles in publishing. Publishers, agents, and authors will present titles on climate change and panelists will discuss how the book publishing industry can address this global crisis.

Thursday: Women's Leadership in Publishing

In this hour, we get the viewpoints and updates of key women in top positions in publishing, as we look to better understand where they see advances this year in women’s representation in the executive suites and where the challenges are most pressing ahead.

Friday: Blockchain and Publishing

Leading experts will provide an overview of blockchain’s potential value to book publishing. Opening with a discussion on real-life applications of blockchain technology in publishing, our speakers will then walk you through a quick journey of where things stand today and what’s ahead.
