Artist Opportunities - Rebecca Vassie Memorial Award (Deadline: 27 March 2020)
The Rebecca Vassie Memorial Award is an annual bursary award for emerging photographers in the UK, worth £3,000. It funds a professional photographer to undertake a narrative photography project – one that focuses on human stories within a social or political context. The trust supports the project throughout, and works with the winner to help maximise public engagement with the resulting work. The award is open to photographers who are either (i) UK citizens or (ii) currently resident in the UK. - Brainchild Festival – Artist Installations (Deadline: 17 February 2020, 12 noon)
Every year, Brainchild Festival make a selection of around 20 submissions for sculptures, artworks, structures, games, interactive pieces and more. These installations bring so much life, colour and joy to the festival and make the site a place of play and discovery. Reach out with how you think could transform a Brainchilders experience and leave them with memories to last a lifetime. Whether that's through sparking debate or releasing their inner child, this is a place for you to spill your ideas.
