A Prairie Home Christmas Stream Prairie Home Productions is proud to present a special online video broadcast of A Prairie Home Christmas beginning Saturday (tomorrow!) at 5:00 p.m. C.T. We expect that the video stream will be available on YouTube for at least 24 hours (after that, we will have to take it down due to music rights for the songs covered on the show).
Starting at 5:00 p.m. Central Time tomorrow, the video will be available on our YouTube channel.
"A Prairie Home Christmas" has brought together the old crew once again: writer/host Garrison Keillor; Royal Academy of Radio Actors Sue Scott, Tim Russell, and Fred Newman; guest vocalist Heather Masse; music director Richard Dworsky; the house band; and behind-the-scenes crew members. This special reunion show has played in four cities this season: Minneapolis, San Francisco, New York City, and tomorrow, Atlanta, Georgia. While each show on the tour has been different from the last, every performance has included the News from Lake Wobegon; sketches featuring Dusty & Lefty, or Mom & Duane, or perhaps Guy Noir; plus heartfelt songs both Christmas-themed and not. The YouTube video we are offering to you was filmed at Town Hall in New York, a show that ran a whopping 3.5 hours long!
One thing that we have learned while preparing to professionally film the show and put it all online is that projects like these are expensive! The price tag for this single video was more than $6,000. If you would like to contribute to the cost of this video and help us bring you more content like this in the future, please consider supporting us using the buttons below. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
And with that, we wish you a great holiday season! We hope you enjoy the show! Click here for the YouTube Channel >>> |
