It’s always been tough to be an advocate of women's reproductive rights, and last week was no exception: the Supreme Court allowed a restrictive Texas law to go into effect that criminalizes abortion at six weeks and deputizes Texas citizens to enforce the ban.
Many women tweeted about the news out of Texas and ruminated about how their various experiences with pregnancy, infertility, miscarriages, childbirth and parenthood radically shaped their views on abortion rights. They said loud and clear: Having a baby or experiencing pregnancy made them more pro-choice than ever.
