How the US should tackle future pandemics
 

The U.S. federal government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic sometimes felt haphazard and uncoordinated. In a new report, Sanjay Patnaik, James Kunhardt, and Richard G. Frank argue that Congress should establish an interdepartmental coordination group, one that brings together experts from the CDC and other agencies to respond to public health crises more effectively.
