  President Trump on Thursday fired H.R. McMaster, the three-star Army general who joined the White House after Trump’s first national security adviser resigned under fire. The move comes as the White House prepares for possible talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in May. McMaster’s removal has been rumored for months.
