President Trump will visit the U.S.-Mexico border Thursday as the government shutdown over wall funding drags into a third week

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced the trip in a Monday tweet and said Trump “will travel to the Southern border on Thursday to meet with those on the frontlines of the national security and humanitarian crisis.”
