Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021 adds 37 new names to its lineup

Today the gates of the Parc del Fòrum of Barcelona should have opened to inaugurate the twentieth anniversary of Primavera Sound. After months of preparations and weeks in which music would have begun to fill the city, finally it was the moment to welcome tens of thousands of people coming from all over the world ready to experience the best week of the year, thanks to the music of the over two hundred artists who were going to perform and to the dedication of thousands of workers who were going to make it all possible.
Unfortunately, and for reasons already known, that will not be the case. But the festival is still looking ahead now that there is less than a year to go until the arrival of Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021, which will take place from June 2nd to 6th next year in the Parc del Fòrum. The first hundred names announced last week are joined by another 37 artists today. With these new names, the lineup continues on its way to becoming the festival's 20th anniversary celebration next year. However, there are still many more surprises to reveal, which will be announced in the coming weeks. One year minus one day left until Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021, the #bestfestivalforever.

Full festival tickets for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2021 are on sale at the price of 165 €* on DICE. VIP full festival tickets are also on sale at the price of 400 €* and the full festival tickets in installments on Festicket.
We remind you that all tickets purchased for Primavera Sound Barcelona 2020 are valid for the 2021 edition and that all those who decide to keep them will enjoy special benefits.

PS LIFE, A VIRTUAL WINDOW ONTO MUSIC
In parallel, and commemorating the starting date of what should have been Primavera Sound Barcelona 2020, the festival publicly launches PS Life, a new audiovisual streaming platform. Conceived as a virtual window onto the world of music through live concerts, videos of historical performances, listening parties, live radio programmes or meetings with artists and other fans among many other proposals, PS Life is a virtual meeting point for times when music fans can't get together in the usual places.
The platform is presented as a community under construction, still in the beta phase, which has already hosted some pilot tests and will be released to the general public today, Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm CET with a listening party of the new album by Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Sideways to New Italy, with the participation of the band. From tomorrow until Saturday, it will be the turn of the #RelivePrimavera special, during which historical concerts from past editions of Primavera Sound will be broadcast, such as Blur (2013), Swans (2013) or Sharon Van Etten (2014), in addition to another listening party with Hinds with their third album The Prettiest Curse, followed by a virtual meet & greet. The end of the party will be a rocking session by DJ Coco himself streamed for the first time live from the 2015 edition of the festival.
This special edition of #RelivePrimavera on PS Life will run until Saturday, June 6th with five hours a day of uninterrupted broadcasting. Access is completely free and, in addition to streaming, users will have public and private chats in which to comment on everything that is going on. Come in, listen and watch: welcome to PS Life.
