Prince, mural celebrated in Minneapolis
Minneapolis crowned our Prince. A plan seven years in the making was unveiled last night as the Minneapolis Prince mural has been completed.

The Purple Block Party marked the official unveiling of the 100-foot mural dedicated to hometown musician and icon Prince.
 
Jury finds Gregory Ulrich guilty of murder, 10 other charges in Minn. clinic attack

A jury in Wright County Thursday took about six hours to convict Gregory Ulrich on all charges in a mass shooting last year at an Allina Health clinic in Buffalo, Minnesota.

Jurors found the 68-year-old guilty of 11 counts in all, including first-degree murder in the death of a staff member.

Ulrich shot five people Feb. 9 2021 and set off three pipe bombs. Medical assistant Lindsay Overbay, 37, died of a gunshot wound. Four other clinic staffers survived but suffered serious injuries.
 
What else we're watching:
Police: Multiple victims in Wisconsin cemetery shooting. Racine police said on social media that numerous shots were fired about 2:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Racine, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) south of Milwaukee. Ascension All Saints Hospital, which is next to the cemetery, said it is treating an undisclosed number of victims from the shooting.  

Biden appeals for tougher gun laws: 'How much more carnage?' President Joe Biden delivered an impassioned plea to Congress to act on gun control Thursday night in an address to the nation, calling on lawmakers to restore limits on the sale of assault-style weapons and high-capacity magazines after a string of mass shootings in the country.
