Principal on leave after dance video controversy

The principal of Walker High School has asked to go on leave for the rest of the school year after he became a lightning rod of criticism at the school and on social media. 

A student and her mother accused Jason St. Pierre of removing her from her role as student council president and revoking help with a scholarship because of a video that showed her dancing at a private after-party for the homecoming dance. 

St. Pierre issued an apology Sunday and said he was restoring what he took away, but the anger remained.
