Today is World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme is: 'Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority'.

In her new article, Emma Newlyn says that you have the power to change your mind far more than you may realise. This ability to alter the structure and function of the brain is known as neuroplasticity – ‘neuro’ meaning ‘brain’, and ‘plasticity’ referring to the brain’s malleable and changeable nature.

So, if prioritising mental health and wellbeing for ourselves – and invoking neuroplastic changes within our own brains to do so – will elevate the holistic wellness of the entire planet, let’s begin, together, right now.
