Prisma Health acquires 2 Midlands health systems

Prisma Health-Midlands will acquire two Midlands health systems through an agreement announced Thursday. The 1.2 million-patient healthcare provider, headquartered in Greenville, has purchased LifePoint Health’s Camden-based KershawHealth and Columbia’s Providence Health systems.

Iron Hill Brewery expands to BullStreet District

Delaware-based Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant plans to open a location in Columbia’s BullStreet District next year, adding to the area’s rapid growth. This will be the 21st location for Iron Hill, founded in Newark, Del., in 1996.

Silver Airways to relaunch service from S.C.

Silver Airways is returning service to Charleston in May, offering nonstop flights to Orlando, Fort Lauderdale and Tampa, Fla. Charleston will be the only S.C. city served by Silver Airways when service launches.

Tax help available for qualifying income earners

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program is open to lower-income individuals, including small operators also not showing a loss or asset depreciation on Schedule C, the S.C. Department of Revenue said.
