Worcester claims marijuana club misled city officials

Worcester officials say they were not aware a private club that opened last week on Water Street would allow the smoking of cannabis within its doors.

Coca-Cola executive Alexander Douglas will replace Shira Goodman as CEO of Framingham office retailer Staples, who departed the company last month, less than a year after the company went private following its $7-billion acquisition by New York-based Sycamore Partners.
