I feel sorry for the farmers with down corn. I'm 66 and we all know it's no fun. Ag community is it really smart to combine early? Say 30%, by my figures with drying and basis at the elevator, it"ll cost the farmer $1.60 for every bushel that goes in combine bin. This is not counting storage. Plus you don't run a rock in it. If you combine normal and have good crop insurance. There is no incentive. There will be less corn in the country which will make other farmers happy plus it will help your bottom line. Crop Tour if you disagree please contact me. I think you're saying something different. The only way I change my mind is if corn goes up $1.00. Good luck on that one.
