PBJ reporting and 5-star staffing

The 5-Star Rating System’s staffing domain has undergone many changes over the last year. The data submitted through Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) each quarter, which began last April, is used to determine this factor. Yes, additional staff time is also reported by PBJ, but only RNs, LPNs, nursing as-sistants, and medication technicians (where allowed by state practice acts) are used for the 5-Star staffing domain.
