However, they will need a federal judge's help in what is shaping up to be a protracted uphill batter, as New York's governor and attorney general do everything they can to block extradition. Jeff Landry to reduce wasteful government spending has been meeting in secret, which independent experts say violates the state’s open meeting laws.
