But when one man tried to open an account at a Nebraska bank, tellers were startled with the amount he was ready to start with. The staff of the Pinnacle Bank in Lincoln was unsure how to respond to the visitor when he slapped a â1-million-dollar billâ on the counter and demanded to open a savings account. Not only do 1-million-dollar bills not exist, printed bills only max out at $10,000 â and even those bills stopped printing in the 1930s! Needless to say, the man left the bank without an account.
