Register for the Tinman Triathlon |
|
This event, sponsored by the Coho Swim Club, is designed for both the experienced triathlete and the beginning participant. Due to construction, this event will be held at Mitchell Pool and the surrounding neighborhood. The swim portion will be conducted as pre-seeded waves based on participants’ estimated swim time. After the 300-meter swim is a 6-mile bike, followed by a 3-mile run. |

District 109 Family Night |

June 12 from 7:30 - 10:30 pm | Mitchell Pool An exclusive event for District 109 students and families. Bring your raft, inner tube or noodle and swim in Mitchell Pool! Fee is $3 per person. Pool passes are not valid for entry. |

| Early Bird Pool Pass Rate Ends May 31 The last day to purchase a pool pass at the early bird rate is Friday, May 31. Purchase your pool pass at Jewett Park Community Center or renew your 2018 pass online. |
| Walk, Ride and Roll is August 25! Choose your healthy mode of transportation and hike, bike or roll over to Jaycee, Mitchell, Deerspring, Maplewood and Jewett Parks from 1:30 - 3:30 pm to try out some fun recreation activities and get your passport marked at each park you visit. Register to reserve your shirt size. |

Summer Sampler Concert Series |

Sundays @ 5 - 6:30 pm | Mitchell Park Bring a picnic dinner, chairs or a blanket and join your friends and neighbors for this free concert series in the park.

Bring your raft, inner tube or noodle and watch a movie on the big screen from the pool! Swimming begins at 7:30 pm. Movie begins at dusk.
Admission is $3 per person. Pool passes will not be accepted for entry.

June 15 from 1 - 4 pm at Sachs Recreation Center Bring your donations and learn about many ways to recycle, repurpose and reuse. We will be collecting a variety of items. Let’s keep these items out of landfills!
- Gently used books and board games - Eyeglasses - Cell Phones - Gently used stuffed animals and plush toys - Textiles – including new, gently used, worn clothing, as well as other items such as bedding, linens and towels (please no pillows, cushions or rugs) Due to space constraints, please limit textile donations to 3 garbage bags. - Shoes (please tie or rubber band together)
We will also have a shredding truck on site from 1:30-4:00 p.m. Bring documents that you would like to have shredded. Please limit to 2 bags per person. Tell your friends and start cleaning out your closets! We look forward to seeing you on June 15th! |

Take a Tour of the Preschool |

Deerfield Park District Preschool is a developmental program designed so that children learn to play and play to learn. We believe that through play and problem solving, children learn the basic skills necessary to achieve – socially, emotionally, intellectually, physically, and creatively.
We have openings left in our Little Learners (3 years old by March 1, 2020) and our 3 Year Olds (3 years old by September 1, 2019) programs. |

Join us for the Deerfield Park Foundation & Warriors Wrestling Alumni & Friends Golf Outing at the Deerfield Golf Club! Your support benefits the Deerfield Park Foundation providing Grants-in-Aid (scholarships) for Deerfield Park District residents who are in serious financial need so they can attend programs. Warriors Wrestling Alumni & Friends supports the Deerfield Warriors Wrestling program. |

Coming July 18 from 5 - 8:30 pm, join the Patty Turner Center for a fabulous fifties theme-dinner and dance, Shake, Rattle and Mix! Put on your blue suede shoes and get ready to twist the night away as David Shamrock and his nostalgic band, The Rockin’ Fenderskirts, take to the stage! Enjoy jukebox hits from all the greats including Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis! Members and guests will enjoy a pre-dinner reception followed by a retro diner-style buffet.
