Join us and youth services professionals and educators from across the country to learn about innovative, effective, and actionable best practices from the library leaders who are implementing them. |

Learn about developmentally appropriate, inclusive programming and environments for your youngest patrons.
Censorship: An Organized Response
Well-organized campaigns have left librarians feeling attacked and vulnerable. Presenters will share tactical ways that libraries can prepare for, and respond to, challenges and the trauma that accompanies them. Attendees will share their experiences during a facilitated discussion that will follow.
Creating Community: Innovative Outreach and Partnerships
We’ll explore creative approaches for connecting with underserved communities about library services programming, and identify supportive partners. LBGTQIA+ Programs and Services
Librarians from around the country will share what they are doing to more effectively serve this community. We’ll engage in a facilitated discussion after the session where you’ll glean actionable ideas from our presenters and attendees to take back to your community.
Real Reading: Graphic Novels and Audiobooks
Children and teens love them, librarians welcome them, but many parents, administrators, and policy makers don’t consider them real reading. We’ll explore the data.
Trauma and Mental Health: What We Know, What We Can Do
An overview of trauma-informed care and the opportunities libraries have in the area of trauma-responsive services. Included will be information about a self-assessment tool to support your work. A facilitated discussion among panelists and attendees will cap the session.
Equity in Summer Learning
Hear about innovative programs that are expanding the learning opportunities for kids over summer and beyond. The Summit will deliver 11 CE hours. A certificate of completion will be provided. Check out our updates to programming and speaker infohere! |

Accepted presenters will be allotted 5 minutes to deliver their idea during our ‘fast learning’ segment and will have their registration fee waived. Deadline for submission is January 27th. |
