Josh Hansen's path to higher education hasn’t been easy. As a student with autism-spectrum disorder, his challenges were compounded by the fact that he completed high school and started community college during the pandemic.
He struggled in the online environment until he found Beacon College, an institution for neurodiverse students. At Beacon, Josh found a supportive setting where he was able to pursue his hobbies by running on the track team and participating in their theater program.
