  The Kremlin said Sunday that Russian President Vladimir Putin called President Trump to thank him for a U.S. intelligence tip that helped thwart a series of bombings in St. Petersburg. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed that Trump spoke to Putin. The conversation was the second phone call between the two leaders since Thursday, according to the White House.
