It's a big day for sports! The U.S. plays the Netherlands in the Round 16 of the World Cup. Star Christian Pulisic suffered a pelvic contusion when he scored the game-winning goal against Iran on Tuesday, but he has been cleared to play, ESPN reported. If you're reading this email later in the day, hopefully the U.S. won and advanced to the Quarterfinals. If not, we can look forward to watching this young group of players make more World Cup runs in the future.

During the second half of BYU's game against Missouri State on Nov. 16,
BYU made history with Jaxson Robinson, Trey Stewart, Rudi Williams, Fousseyni Traore and Gideon George on the court. It was the first time in university history that five Black student-athletes took the court.
“Seeing five Black athletes taking that picture with coach was really cool," George said. "I thought, ‘Wow, BYU has come a long way. It’s great to show the world that this is what BYU stands for. Everybody is welcome here.”
The moment didn't unnoticed by Keith Rice, BYU's first Black basketball player. He thought it was amazing.
