🏦  QUESTIONING CAPITALISM

Bitcoin Is Venice: Capitalism Without Capitalists
By Allen Farrington And Sacha Meyers

The article series of adapted excerpts from the book “Bitcoin Is Venice” by Allen Farrington and Sacha Meyers continues. In this chapter, the concept of capitalism is brought into discussion to demonstrate that modern society is, by far, no longer functioning under that economical system.

For capitalism to work properly, sound money is indispensable. The global reserve currency must be, at least, scarce and immune to any kind of manipulation. Unfortunately, since the “Nixon Shock”  and the end of the gold standard in 1971, capitalism has been deteriorating exponentially. Economics has become a religion and the value of the global reserve currency is determined purely by faith.

Fortunately, we do have an alternative. A global, digital, sound, free, open-source, programmable, immutable and scarce money, Bitcoin.

💻 RENEWABLE MINING

Blockstream, Block To Leverage Tesla Equipment For Renewable Bitcoin Mining Operation
By Peter Chawaga

Blockstream had previously stated their intentions of expanding themselves in the Bitcoin Mining industry, both by producing equipment and by setting up mining facilities. In Bitcoin 2022 on the mining stage, Adam Back, Blockstream CEO, announced that his company, in partnership with Block, Inc., will be leveraging Tesla energy equipment for a $12 million bitcoin mining facility.

With a focus on solar energy, and powered by The Tesla Solar PV and Tesla Megapack, the facility is projected to produce 3.8 Megawatts of solar renewable power, and 30 PH/s of hash rate.

This facility will set precedence that Bitcoin can solve energy crises rather than creating them. That it can act as an energy base load for the system, and even make projects more profitable while resulting in bigger power infrastructure for the world.

"Basically, Bitcoin should be the funding model to drive expansion of power infrastructure.” – Adam B.

MEME OF THE DAY

By Udiverse

The New York Post just associated bitcoin fans as psycopaths who don't care about anyone, according to "a study". It is funny how mainstream media becomes more unreliable by the day. I know many bitcoiners, and all of them are good people, but even if what they were saying was true. Bitcoin don't care.

I guess I'll be stacking sats as a psychopath today,
