Quinton Hennigh Opines on 14 Gold Stocks in Jay Taylor's NewsletterDr. Quinton praises Snowline Gold and several others but believes New Found Gold is greatly understating the value of its Queensway gold project.
Dr. Quinton Hennigh My interview last Friday With Dr. Quintn Hennging in which he opined on 14 gold stocks covered in my newletter, J Taylor’s Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks is now available to the general public as of 12:00 noon on April 23 here. Knowing that a large number of stocks contained in J Taylor’s Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks are followed by Dr. Quinton Hennigh of Crescat Capital, I invited him to join me to discuss some fourteen stories that I cover. Quinton had high praise for Snowline Gold, Sitka Gold, Eloro Resources, Hannan metals. But he believes that the management of New Found Gold may be massively understating the value of that company’s epizonal orogenic gold deposit. Dr. Hennigh’s criticism brings credibility given his success in guiding Kirkland Lake toward the discovery of the great Fosterville gold deposit in Australia. It was a company maker for Kirkland Gold. His relationship with Eric Sprott was instrumental in getting Kirkland Lake Gold to fund some key drill holes that resulted in that phenomenal discovery which is geologically very similar to New Found Gold’s Queensway project. Top of Form Bottom of Form Quinton told me a couple years back that New Found’s Queensland project likely has numerous Fosterville deposits on it and he told me he still believes that is true, though the initial resource did not begin to match that expectation. He said he would have to see the company’s data in order to buy the very disappointing story being told now by management. I must confess that New Found has been one of the most disappointing story covered in my newsletter. Hopefully, the company will at least listen to Quintion’s ideas because at stake is a mining project that may well not be living up to its potential. To save time for you, I have posted the time lines for each of the following companies in my newsletter that Quinton has commented on starting with share price underperformers followed by some of the most successful discovery plays: Underperformers with considerable upside potential: 6:08 - Lion One Metals 10:00 - Novo Resources 14:44 - Eskay Mining 18:43 - Firefox Gold 21:53 - Irving Resources 25:21 - Tectonic Metals 30:35 - Western Alaska Minerals Some of the most successful discovery plays 33:40 - Goliath Resources 36:31 - New Found Gold 43:47 - Nevada King Gold 45:05 - Snowline Gold 51:21 - Sitka Gold 53:00 - Eloro Resources 56:22 - Hannan Metals This interview was provided last Saturday only to my paid Substack subscribers but is available now to the general public as of 12:00 noon on April 23, 2025 here. There has seldom been a better time than now to invest in gold mining companies since the 1930s. It was after the 1929 stock market crash that sent the Dow down 89% that gold miners rose several fold in value and paid huge dividends.
