Don’t Exclude Rachel True From the Legacy of The Craft

Fairuza Balk, Neve Campbell, Robin Tunney, and Rachel True in The Craft (1996)

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World Remains One of the Best Comic Book Movies Ever Made

Michael Cera and Satya Bhabha in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
Ten years ago, the comic book movie adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs. the World landed in theaters. The film was sadly a box office bob-omb, making $48.1 million against a substantial budget of $85 million. Despite that, the 2010 movie directed by Edgar Wright is considered a classic and is, in my mind, one of the best comic book adaptations put to screen.

Sharon Stone
Sharon Stone has had a long career playing blonde bombshells, but that came with a lot of uncomfortable moments on set, which she has been outspoken about since the #MeToo movement took national attention. During an interview with Attitude Magazine, she discussed intimacy coordinators and one of her early moments of discomfort.

Things We Saw Today: Annie and Hallie Are Back With the Cast of The Parent Trap

Lindsay Lohan in the Parent Trap
Seeing the cast of The Parent Trap back in action basically means that I'm going to watch the movie over and over again like I'm 7 years old again, and honestly? Not that mad about it!

Pedro Pascal Chooses Gal Gadot Over His Own Child, Baby Yoda

Gal Gadot as wonder Woman and Baby Yoda

John Boyega Isn’t Ready to Return to Star Wars. It’s Also Been Less Than a Year.

Oscar Isaac and John Boyega in Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker came out less than a year ago. I know, wild, but that's the truth.
TV, I'll Be Gone in the Dark (HBO), Michelle McNamara, true crime

HBO’s I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: The Complicated Darkness of True Crime and the Exceptional Mind of Michelle McNamara

I'll Be Gone in the Dark (2020)
HBO's true crime documentary I'll Be Gone in the Dark, an adaptation of Michelle McNamara's true crime novel of the same name, is exceptionally well made and tragic. The book was published two years after McNamara's death and two months before the subject of the book, the East Area Rapist/Original Night Stalker/Golden State Killer, was arrested. The HBO series poignantly brings together the book, the crime, and the life of its author.
