Classic Live: Symphonic Showcase with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Get your spot under the stars for the final concert in the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra's free outdoor series.

Live from the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, join host Alice Keath for symphonic treats, conducted by Benjamin Northey.

Hear Rachmaninov's beloved Piano Concerto No. 2, performed by Reuben Tsang, winner of the 2024 Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition, alongside Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra.

The concert also features the world premieres of new Australian music, James Henry's Red Time and Klearhos Murphy's Leventikos.

You can still listen to the first concert, journeying through music from Mendelssohn's Hebrides to John Williams's galaxy far, far away. And don't miss last week's concert featuring Ravel's Boléro and Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, with soloist Andrea Lam.
