| Public opinion research was conducted in 2007 and 2013 to understand knowledge and awareness of radon, and its associated risks among Canadians. Health Canada identified the need to conduct follow-up research, to help evaluate and measure the effectiveness of the efforts of the National Radon Program over the last five years.
