Rain blocking the eclipse was 'typical Louisiana'

We gathered outside in the drizzle all around the city to try to see Monday's total eclipse, but the clouds blocked Baton Rouge residents' view of the sun and moon.

This was the last eclipse to pass through the United States for the next 20 years. As LSU student Yuni Herrera said, it was "typical Louisiana" for it to rain during such a rare event. Read about what happened here.
