From Raising Cattle to Now Reindeer, How One Family is Sharing the Magic Of Christmas On Their Farm
 
The Prescott Family Reindeer Farm in southern Missouri is rooted in a deep desire to give everyone a full Christmas experience. Cattle producers by trade, they decided to add reindeer to the mix.
 
 

The reference to chestnuts, let alone roasted ones, will trigger few remembrances even though Chestnut trees once dominated Eastern forests comprising as much as half the hardwood in those woodlands.

 
 

In 2012, Jerry Lageson flipped the switch and transformed an oak tree into a landmark for thousands of passersby. South of Faribault, Minn., Lageson annually adorns this tree with 50,000 white lights.

 
 

On Dec. 10, 2021, an EF4 tornado tore through Mayfield, Ky. One year later, Clinton Griffiths, host of AgDay, and Tyne Morgan, host of U.S. Farm Report, visit the community to share stories of hope and signs of rebuilding. Bit by bit, piece by piece, Mayfield is reclaiming its future and forging a bond stronger than any tornado can tear apart. It's truly a Christmas comeback.
