CBS Sports Football Pick Six Newsletter

Eight teams have either one or zero wins, and John Breech says if Adam Gase is still winless when the Jets face the Fins and loses, he should be fired. Brady Quinn wonders how N.Y. views Gase as Sam Darnold returns, and check out Jason La Canfora's ranking of those eight teams by who's best positioned to bounce back. We also size up Handshakegate, the latest news and much more.
Pete Prisco somehow went 6-9 straight up last week but 9-6 against the spread. CALL HIM MR. VEGAS. Pete's looking to stay hot ATS in Week 6, and says he'll do it by fading the more-rested, 4-1 Seahawks in Cleveland, but he's riding the rested Rams against the unbeaten Niners, and check out what's in store for the rolling Saints.
Who's been the best quarterback so far this season? Sean Wagner-McGough ranked all the starters, 1-32, and says there's a clear gap between the top three and the rest of the league. Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson are close for No. 1, while Tom Brady's unbeaten but not in the top 5, and check out where Sean's got Gardner Minshew.

This is so, so stupid. The Dolphins are at home, coming off their bye, and they're underdogs against a team that just fired its coach and hasn't won a game. BUT I'M STILL TAKING THE SKINS. I like that Bill Callahan wants to run it, and I'm also backing the Broncos (they should be 3-2), but I'm fading a red-hot team in primetime.
With four teams on a bye in Week 6, you might have to reach deeper than usual for running back help, and Jamey Eisenberg has your back. Jamey broke down some sleepers who could come up big, like Carlos Hyde against that awful Chiefs run D, and Chase Edmonds could break out if David Johnson's limited. But watch out for this bust alert in the NFC West.
Everyone's just been assuming the Dolphins will have the first pick, but it turns out that this is the golden age of NFL teams being awful. The Skins, Bengals and Jets are also winless, and Josh Edwards doesn't have the Fins at No. 1. Check out who Josh does have landing Tua, as well as the big name headed to Vegas to play for Jon Gruden.
The Pats are set up to be the biggest Thursday night favorite ever, but how can you use that to your advantage as a bettor? R.J. White took a deep dive into what happened the six other times a team was favored by at least 14 on a Thursday (don't look for a ton of points), and also breaks down his Week 6 picks, plus two games where you might want to fade the public.
