On this day in 1990, Canberra welcomed its first ever recorded set of quadruplets. The record-breaking delivery took place at Royal Canberra Hospital, with two girls named Kelly Alyce and Melissa Jane, along with two boys named Shane Adrian and Jason Andrew entering the world.
